This habitat survey by Friends of Lee Point in Aug 2026 shows most of the Lee Point 2CRU offset to be monsoon forest.
Photos were taken down the middle of the offset at four sites, refer Fig 1.
Heading north, the first 170m (sites 1 and 2) was eucalypt woodland with monsoon rainforest in the gullies. The remainder of the offset (sites 3 and 4) was monsoon forest, no eucalypts or pandanus.
