Traffic congestion is becoming increasingly worse as more houses are built at Lee Point and the taxpayer will need to foot the bill to fix this problem. The simplest and most cost effective solution is to build the DHA houses near jobs and public transport ie. defence bases.
Long term supporter of Save Lee Point, Martin Jackson, is now running as an Independent for Casuarina. He doesn’t want to see Lee Point wrecked and believes the DHA housing should not be located at Lee Point but closer to the defence bases.
