Friends of Lee Point Inc.

Friends of Lee (FLP) was formed on the 25 July 2020 at a public meeting in Lyons with the help of PLan – the Planning Action Network Inc, its main aim being to conserve the natural beauty and biodiversity of Lee Point/Binybara. On the 2 January 2024 FLP became an incorporated association, FLP Inc.

The objects and purposes from FLP Inc. Constitution are to:

  1. conserve and enhance the natural beauty and biodiversity of Lee Point/Binybara;
  2. advocate for the conservation of connected savanna habitat from Lee Point to Shoal Bay Coastal Reserve to support the biodiversity of Lee Point/Binybara;
  3. initiate and support campaigns and other programs and other efforts that protect the natural and cultural heritage of Lee Point/Binybara;
  4. encourage appropriate urban planning which complements the natural beauty and biodiversity of Lee Point/Binybara.
